Saturday morning I left for Prague. The sun was shining from a clear blue sky, but as soon as we crossed the boarder, the skies were grey and the temperature dropped. It was short, sweet and very intense. I got to hang out a little by myself, with some friends and go through a ton of my stuff, it was a little walk down memory lane.
Here are a few snaps from my weekend..
Told you it was cold…
perfect cappuccino at my favorite place!
Found a few memories from our Mexico trip
Sunday + brunch = blue berry pancakes! They are a must!
Packing some of the most important things had to come with me..
It was a nice trip, but it was also really good to come back to Berlin. It was a bit strange to be there and to be there alone. It was fun to go through all my things, and I brought a lot from my studio, so I am really looking forward to get to work soon, its been way too long!
In 2011 J and I went to California. Now, when I look back, it seems like we are always having camera issues when we travel, and this trip was no exception. Once on the other side of the atlantic ocean, we realized we forgot to pack the charger to the camera. Given the reason for the trip (J’s friends wedding) we saved the little we had for the big day. Luckily I had my iphone with me, so I snapped the whole trip with my hipstamatic app. Then, during our last trip, I accidently deleted my whole photo library and no, I am not one of those who does back ups every now and then. The other day, I realized that some of the pics that were missing were the ones from California. Aouch. That hurt, I loved that trip.
But, some research and iPhone work later, I found all of them in the library in the app! Maybe that’s not news to you, but hey, I was VERY happy to see them again. So happy that I decided to share my best ones with you…
Hope you liked them! I can’t wait to go back, I really wanna visit San Francisco!
I am on my way back to Berlin, my week in Stockholm went way too fast (as always) but I had a great stay. Yesterday my sister and I went for a vintage/second hand round, and we both got home with some great finds! My suitcases are full of Christmas presents and some new things plus some Christmas cookies my mom gave me for the trip :)
Do you have any plans for the weekend? Tomorrow it’s supposed to be a bit warm and sunny so I’m looking forward to walking around a bit.
See you soon!
I got up early this morning as Jason was leaving Stockholm. Coming back from the station, this is how dark it was.. It was at about 7:20..
Today I’ve had a girls day, as my sister and niece invited me over for coffee and cupcakes! Afterwards, we headed out to check out some of the post-Christmas sales and got home with some non-sales items.. Isn’t always like that?
Now we’re just relaxing, my sister and I are doing some knitting/crocheting and will soon have some tea. Very nice and relaxing!
Hope you’re having a nice day/evening!
I got back to Berlin this afternoon. I must admit it was a bit strange leaving Prague, and at the same time it feels like forever since we lived there. Well, I left early September, so its been a while for sure.J isn’t coming until tomorrow, so tonight I’ll catch up on some studying (must admit I’m not used to studying, its been so long…) and do some apartment searching.Have a nice evening, tomorrow we’re off to Sweden for Christmas, I can’t wait!!
Our first real week in Berlin! Actually, as we got to Berlin Wednesday evening, I’ll just add those days to the week.
Saturday morning started with this…
1. Birthday gift to me!
2. …and in the evening some champagne.
3. When I went to class Monday morning, Berlin was all white…
4. Casual dinner requires Berliner beer
5. coffee at school
6. Breakfast time
7. A memory from Mexico
8. kitchen floors where we stayed
9. Back in Prague and at Globe!
10. My favorite blueberry pancakes for brunch
11. Cute little Christmas present from a dear friend.
That’s that! The days are passing by so fast, I can’t believe Christmas is just around the corner! We’re leaving for Sweden on Thursday, I am soo excited!!
We’ve just enjoyed a long brunch and some scrabble playing, and now I’m soon off for some Christmas shopping!
The weather is a lot milder then it was in Berlin, something I’m really happy about as its been sooo cold lately. Our last day in the states, I was in a t-shirt, and then we flew right into snow and winter. Hope you are having a relaxing weekend!
